I am making mulled cider – and no, I'm not going to drink it all this evening, particularly because it's only 5pm, and ht servings. Like most people, I had never given the carbon footprint of alcoholic drinks much thought until this moment – it's kind of a mood-killer. But someone has to do it, and after a quick search through an emissions database, I feel suitably guilty.
